״זרע קודש״ הוא חיבור חסידי הכולל בתוכו פירושים שונים על פרשות השבוע ומועדי ישראל. החלק הראשון של הספר דן בפרשות השבוע והחלק השני בחגים בדגש על חג הסוכות. החיבור נכתב על ידי האדמו"ר הראשון מרופשיץ, רבי נפתלי צבי הורוביץ, אך לא פורסם בחייו. תלמידו של המחבר, רבי חיים מצאנז, מחה על פרסומם בתחילה, אך לבסוף נתן אישור להדפסתם בשנת 1868.Zera Kodesh is a chasidic work by the first rebbe of Ropshitz, Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Horowitz. The first part contains insights on the weekly Torah portions and the second part discusses the holidays, among which Rabbi Horowitz expressed a particular affinity for Sukkot. The author did not publish his works, and a disciple, Rabbi Chaim of Sanz, initially protested their posthumous publication. He later decided his teacher’s writings would have a positive impact and wrote an approbation for the 1868 printing.
