יערות דבש חלק אYa'arot Devash I
דרשות ותוכחות מוסר מהרב יהונתן אייבשיץYa’arot Devash is an 18th-century collection of sermons on ethical matters delivered by Rabbi Yonatan Eybeschutz while he served as rabbi in Metz and later of Altona, Hamburg, and Wandsbek. The sermons draw on a range of Jewish sources and often rebuke lax observation of Jewish law. Ya’arot Devash was published posthumously and was widely accepted and occasionally cited as a source of Jewish law. The title of the work translates as "Forests of Honey" and alludes to a similar phrase in [I Samuel 14:27](https://www.sefaria.org/I_Samuel.14.27?lang=bi&with=all&lang2=en).
