רבנו ניסים מג'ירונה היה חכם מהמאה ה-14 שהתפרסם בעיקר כפוסק הלכה. את השאלות ההלכתיות הוא קיבל מיהודי ארצו שבספרד וכן מצרפת, איטליה, אפריקה וארץ ישראל. רבנו נסים השיב על כ-1000 שאלות מתוכן השתמרו רק 77 השאלות שפורסמו בחיבור זה. ספר השאלות והתשובות (שו"ת) כולל שאלות אישיות וקהילתיות ומתפרש על מגוון נושאים.Rabbenu Nissim of Gerona was a renowned 14th-century Spanish legal authority. He received legal questions from his own country as well as from France, Italy, Africa, and the land of Israel. Rabbenu Nissim replied to around 1000 of these questions, but only the 77 published in this work are extant. These responsa include both personal and communal questions on a wide range of topics.
