״ספר החשק״ נכתב במאה ה-13 על ידי המקובל הספרדי אברהם אבולעפיה ומתאר את גישתו של המחבר לחיבור עם האל ואף השגת נבואה באמצעות אמירת צירופים מסוימים של אותיות ושמות אלוהיים, יחד עם טכניקות מדיטציה נוספות. אבולעפיה מפרט את היצירה במקומות אחרים כאחת מארבע הנשגבות ביותר מבין יצירותיו הרבות, שחושפות את רוב הידע בנושא זה.Sefer HaCheshek was written in the 13th century by Spanish kabbalist Abraham Abulafia and describes the author’s approach to connecting with God and even achieving prophecy by reciting certain combinations of letters and divine names, along with other meditation techniques. Abulafia lists the work elsewhere as one of the four “most exalted” of his many works, that “reveal most of this knowledge.”
